Lewis is one of five finalists in the Farécla Apprentice & Student Bonnet Painting Competition (2019).

Lewis is a painter at Alpha Rapid Repair in Kent who was encouraged to enter the Farécla competition by his tutor at the Remit college he attends. Lewis will complete Level 2 of his apprenticeship at the end of October.

“I was so happy when I was told I was a finalist, I couldn’t believe it,” said Lewis. “My company is really delighted for me to get through to the final five. For my design I chose the spraygun because I wanted it to represent the competition itself and it was a way of featuring Farécla corporate colours as well.”

Lewis says he really likes the industry and if he wins the £1,000 first prize he is going to buy himself a new spraygun.
