The votes are in!

...and we thought 2018 was tough!

The expert panel of paint technicians that evaluated this year's were thrilled with the quality of the submissions and said that the decision to pick the semi-finalists this year was already a difficult task, let alone the Final Five!


As previously announced, 5 of our Semi-Finalists will be going forward to this year's Grand Finals taking place on Wednesday 2nd October 2019. 

The winner of the public vote will automatically go through to the finals and be joined by a selection of semi-finalist bonnets chosen by an expert panel of paint technicians.


After much deliberation, Farécla are now pleased to reveal 2019's Grand Finalists:

Farécla is pleased to reveal that the Semi-Finalist entry that got the most votes from the Bodyshop public was...

  • Poppy Merrin-Gregory from Bedford College VTC [Bonnet No.10]

Joining Poppy in the Grand Final will be:

  • Lewis Foreman from Alpha Rapid Repair, Kent [Bonnet No.03]
  • Alex Campbell from Dick Lovett, Bristol [Bonnet No.02]
  • Vladimr Iliev from Barnfield College, Luton [Bonnet No.07]
  • Ben Whitford from Apollo Motor Group, Portsmouth [Bonnet No.04]

Tune in for the Grand Final

These young painters have made it through to the Grand Finals of the competition, which takes place on Wed 02.10.19.

The Final Five bonnets will be reviewed by an expert panel of judges who will ultimately decide the winner of the £1,000 grand prize, a complete Farécla polishing system and attendance with their mentor (or other +1) as VIP guests of Farécla at the Advanced Engineering Show on October 30 2019 at the NEC, Birmingham where their winning entry will be on display at the Farécla stand (K56).
