How to Polish Sanding Scratches in Low Energy, "Air-Dried" Automotive Clear Coat
In light of increased running costs of ovens, many bodyshops have opted to use Low Energy, "Air-Dried" or "Air-Cured" clearcoats.
After extensive testing with different brands and conditions, our team have concluded that when following the G360 polishing system that you should start from P2000 instead of P1500.
This adjusted process allows for bodyshop professionals to take advantage of the system's offering of unparalleled speed, whilst still taking advantage of the cost savings it brings - removing the need for higher sanding steps compared to other systems on the market.
High Cut - To remove P2000 or finer sanding marks
Medium Cut - To remove process marks and medium defects
Fine Cut - To remove fine defects (e.g. holograms and light swirls) and enhance gloss

How to Use: G360 Super Fast Compound How to Use: G360 Super Fast Compound
G360 Super Fast Compound can be used to eliminate 3000 grit sanding and polish rapidly from P1500 to a deep gloss finish.
To replace sanding with 3000 grit first use a Farécla Super High Cut Pad (GMC650), and then remove process marks created by step 1 using a G Mop Angled Compounding Foam (GMC622).
- Ensure surface is clean, dry and cool to the touch
- Shake bottle well before use
- Apply a small amount of product onto the surface and spread across the defect area
- Start at 1500rpm with the Super High Cut Pad at a slight angle, and finish at 900rpm with the pad flat to the surface
- Switch pad to the G Mop Angled Compounding Foam
- Apply a small amount of product onto the surface
- Polish briefly at 900-1300rpm
- Wipe clean with a G Plus Finishing Cloth and repeat if necessary
Super High Cut? Is it too aggressive on fresh paint? Super High Cut? Is it too aggressive on fresh paint?
No – on the contrary – the G360 Compound when used with a Super High Cut Pad runs very cool which is excellent for fresh paint but it does have a very high cut which is also really, really good on long cured paints and OEM paints.

How to Use: Clean and Protect How to Use: Clean and Protect
1. Spray a light mist onto the surface.
2. Use a clean, G Plus Finishing Cloth to immediately wipe off polishing residues, glue lines etc.
3. Using a dry area of the cloth, or ideally a 2nd clean, dry microfibre cloth, buff the surface.
For tougher contamination like birdlime, allow the product to dwell for a few seconds before wiping
