About: G Mop Angled Yellow Compounding Foams
The G Mop Yellow Angled Compounding Foam pad provides an improved cut and gloss of our standard yellow pads, with enhanced handling over our flexible yellow pads;
The angled design offers excellent handling plus greater visibility and control, especially at panel edges and around awkward areas such as door handles and mirrors.
The combination of pore size and open cell structure provides enhanced cut, a lower operating temperature and minimal product throw-off.
Excellent durability – For optimum performance and pad longevity, use with the G Mop Flexible Back Plate

The "Cut Speed" & "Finish Level" presented on our product pages, upgraded G Mop packaging and infographics are intended as a rough guideline. Pad Performance and Results are dependent on numerous factors including the polish used, the surface / substrate being polished, machine speeds and user handling.
The products presented below are recommended for use with this applicator. In some cases there may be alternative applicator recommendations from Farécla to achieve a faster cut or a higher finish with that compound.
Farécla's Compounds, Polishes and Waxes will have recommended applicators either on the product packaging, process guides or in the supplemental material available on our website (product pages, solutions etc.).
Farécla advises following the process and products the compound / polish / wax recommends. Users should assess the level of correction needed before polishing, aiming to use the least aggressive pad that will still remove imperfections effectively.
When adjusting the process with alternative, non-recommended pads, Farécla recommended testing in a small or inconspicuous area first to ensure you are going to achieve the desired finish.
Farécla also offers accessories designed to improve the longevity and handling of applicators, and polishing machines; specially developed and specced to deliver optimal performance when used with our compounds and applicators.
Can 180 mm Range G Mop Pads be used with ROTARY Polishing Machines? Can 180 mm Range G Mop Pads be used with ROTARY Polishing Machines?
While 180 mm range pads may be physically compatible with some rotary backplates due to the universal hook and loop backing, they are primarily designed for use with dual action polishers with a 21 mm throw.
Using these pads on a rotary polishing machine is not recommended, as the larger diameter with a mismatched backplate and intended machine action can affect balance, handling and overall performance; making the machine harder to control and reducing consistency in cut and finish.
For best results, pads should be matched to the correct machine type and size to maintain stability, control and finishing quality.
Farécla does not currently offer a 21 mm throw Dual Action Polishing Machine.
