We demonstrate how to polish High Solids and Ultra High Solids marine paints using Profile 400 Advanced Plus.

How to use

  • Holding out Profile 400 Advanced Plus

    Step 1: Profile 400 Advanced Plus

    Make sure the surface is clean, dry and cool. Shake bottle well before use. Choose the applicator that suits the desired cutting speed and surface quality.
  • Applying compound to G Mop Wool Pad

    Step 2a : Twisted Wool Compounding Pad

    Twisted Wool Compounding Pad - quicker cut, less shine, machine speed 1500-1800 rpm
  • Applying compound to G Mop Lambs Wool Pad

    Step 2b : Lambs Wool Pad

    Lambs Wool pad - medium cut, medium gloss, machine speed 1500-1800 rpm.
  • Applying compound to G Mop Yellow Compounding Foam

    Step 2c : Waffle Compounding Foam

    Waffle Compounding Foam - slower cut, higher gloss, machine speed 800-1100 rpm
  • Polish small areas at a time on oxidised boat hull

    Step 3: Work in small areas

    Work in small areas at a time, keeping the pad flat on the surface. Clean the surface, repeat if necessary.
