Choice of polishing pad does matter because optimum performance in terms of cut and finish on a given substrate results when the right compound for the job is paired with the most appropriate applicator – they work as a team.

In the ‘Products‘ section check the product page for the product you are using, as many of the pages have a link to a specific recommended process chart, that includes recommended applicators. Alternatively, if the product page includes a link to a Fact Sheet, page 2 of the Fact Sheet will include suggested applicators to use with the product.
