Quality Assurance
At Farécla we’re very proud of our UK manufacturing facilities, and proud to have developed products which are now sold in over 120 countries. As such, quality assurance is an important part of what we do – to ensure that all products meet expectation, wherever they’re used in the world.
Here’s an insight into the processes of quality assurance at Farécla HQ.
For key raw materials, we test physical properties using our lab facilities, and compare these against the certificate of analysis (COA) document that accompanies the material.
Some raw materials have a production specification that specifies minimum and maximum tolerances for some properties. If any recorded property falls outside of this range, it can form the grounds for rejecting that particular batch.
For produced formulations, key formulations are performance tested directly after production. These have to be passed before we allow the mix to be transferred from the mixing vessel to the final pack format (bottles etc.).
We run a rigorous quality control system with samples being taken from every single production batch which is stored in a custom built facility. Retained samples are stored for 2 years before disposing. This gives us full traceability for all batches produced on-site.
We expect that any Farécla product to reach you in the same condition as it left our manufacturing facility, and that it performs as expected. If you have any concerns about your product, please do contact us.
