Farécla Participates in Saint-Gobain EHS and Purpose Day (2024)
EHS Day 2024
On Wednesday 22nd May 2024, Farécla joined parent company Saint-Gobain's bi-annual EHS Day - a day of celebration and awareness concerning Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and a reminder of the critical role these elements play in our lives and workplaces.
EHS Day 2024 was opened on site by Tuelin Yerdelen (General Manager) and David Crossley (Operations Director) of Farécla - followed by a video introduction from Mike Chaldecott (Chief Executive Saint-Gobain UK & Ireland) and Benoit Bazin (CEO of Saint-Gobain).
Staff then took part in interactive workshops lead by David Crossley, Hakan Ozgoncu (EHSQ Manager), Christine Foster (International Business Development Director) and Neil Pitts (Manufacturing & Facilities Manager) covering Serious Incident Potential (SIP) Scenarios and Prevention relevant to our site and diversity topics following our recent diversity FRESK pilot.
Between workshops there were plenty of treats and drinks and a reminder of Saint-Gobain's various health and lifestyle benefit offerings available to all staff.
EHS Day 2024 closed with Farécla joining Mike Chaldecott on Microsoft Teams alongside other Saint-Gobain businesses across the UK and Ireland.
Farécla is a company within the Saint-Gobain group and so shares its parent’s vision of making the world a better home, and caring for people and the planet by minimising risk and safety concerns about its products and activities.
EHS is not just about compliance - it is about creating a culture of safety, sustainability, and well-being for everyone.
