Farécla Bonnet Painting Competition (2018) - Grand Finalists Revealed

It's been tough whittling down to our Grand Finalists for the Farécla Apprentice & Student Bonnet Painting Competition and we're hugely appreciative of the time and effort put in by all entrants.

In light of how close some entries have been, we have selected five Grand Finalists, rather than four as originally planned.

Farécla Marketing Manager David Stokes explained: "In discussion with our Senior Paint Technician, Mark Taylor it was clear that in his estimation 5 bonnets (including the public's choice announced yesterday) stood out, with it being a very close call as to which one would miss out if the Grand Final featured only four bonnets as originally planned, so in keeping with the competition's aim of encouraging young painters, Farécla took the decision to put up extra prize money and bring all five bonnets to our offices to contest the Grand Final"

The Grand Final will take place at the Farécla UK offices on Wednesday, 3rd October 2018 when the winner and runner up will be chosen by a panel of 3 expert judges: George Sneddon, Global OEM Technical Program Manager at Akzo Nobel, NCRC's Daryl Head, Silver Medallist at World Skills Abu Dhabi, and Tom French, Graphic Design and Brand Manager at Farécla.
