How to Clean Steel, Alloy and Painted Wheels

For all wheel types, including alloys, steel, chrome, painted and plastic trims G3 Pro Wheel Cleaner is a touchless cleaner with colour changing technology which activates as brake dust and iron rich contaminants dissolve.

Note: Do NOT wash your microfibre cloth in a washing machine after using G3 Pro Wheel Cleaner.

How to Clean: Wheels

  • Checking the temperature of a wheel by touch

    Make sure that the wheels and brakes are cool.

  • Rinsing a wheel with a pressure washer

    Rinse the wheel (this also helps to cool down the wheels and brakes).

  • Spraying a wheel with G3 Pro Wheel Cleaner

    Spray generously onto the wheel....

  • Spraying G3 Pro Wheel Cleaner on bodywork

    ... and the wheel arches / surrounding bodywork.

  • G3 Pro Wheel Cleaner in action - wheel turning purple

    Wait - If brake dust is present, the product will turn purple.

    For stubborn dirt, top up and brush if necessary (wheels only, not wheel arches or paintwork).

  • Rinsing wheel and bodywork with a pressure washer

    Rinse with a pressure washer

  • Drying a wheel with a G Plus Cloth

    Dry with a microfibre cloth (if desired)

1. Ensure brakes and wheels are cool to the touch
2. Liberally spray onto wheels. Gel formula clings to the surface
3. Spray onto wheel arches to remove brake dust from paintwork
4. Agitate with a brush if needed for stubborn dirt
5. Wait - If brake dust is present, the product will turn purple
6. Rinse off with a jet / pressure washer
