Profile 150
Profile 150 Rapid Cut Liquid Compound is a high-performance cutting compound developed for the rapid removal of sanding marks and heavy surface defects from fresh gelcoat surfaces.
Specially formulated for use on newly manufactured polyester, vinylester and epoxy gelcoats, it delivers fast defect removal while producing an excellent level of gloss, helping to reduce polishing time in demanding production environments.
Used with a G Mop Twisted Wool Compounding Pad, Profile 150 quickly removes sanding marks and restores surface clarity on moulds, tooling and production parts. Its advanced formulation provides a clean, efficient polishing process with low residue and easy wipe-off.
Suitable for use on polyester resin gelcoats, vinylester resin gelcoats, epoxy resin gelcoats, paint systems, clear coat lacquers and aerospace coatings.
Performs best at high speed (2000-3500rpm). Let the machine do the work.
For maximum gloss and swirl removal, follow with Profile 700 Finish.

If needed, before polishing, sand up to:
- P800 or finer (Polyester resin or gelcoat)
- P1000 or finer (Vinylester resin or gelcoat)
- P1200 or finer (Epoxy resin or gelcoat)
- P1500 or finer (Paint or lacquer)
- P2000 or finer (Aerospace paints)
Recommended Applicator(s):
- G Mop Twisted Wool Pad - 2000-3500 RPM
- Ensure surface is clean, dry and cool to the touch
- Shake bottle well before use
- Apply a small amount of product to the applicator
- Spread over the surface and polish
- Speed depends on applicator used but for Profile 150, we recommend a high speed (2000-3500 rpm) and applying minimal pressure. Let the machine do the work
- Work in small areas at a time, keeping the applicator flat to the surface
- Wipe clean and repeat if necessary
