Farécla Leverages the Strength of New Owner Saint-gobain With New Distribution in North American Industrial Sector

PRESS RELEASE | 18 DECEMBER 2020

Farécla is pleased to announce that its North American subsidiary, Farécla Inc. is to join forces with Saint-Gobain-owned Norton Abrasives for distribution of Farécla’s Profile range of abrasive compounds, polishes and waxes to industrial markets across the US and Canada. All Farécla’s core expertise will be retained to ensure a smooth switch of distribution that strengthens the market coverage of the Farécla brand and is expected to see the Profile products grow sales and market share.

“This move will further strengthen both teams with a view to substantially growing Profile as well as all Saint-Gobain industrial products in the North American market.” said Michael Haddon, Managing Director at Farécla.

“The fit could not be better”, said Jim Ridge, Global Sales and Marketing Director at Farécla. “Our North America team has done a tremendous job in building the reputation of Farécla’s Profile range in marine and other industrial sectors. This expansion of our distribution by linking up with our sister company, Norton Industrial is a natural next step and builds upon the success we are already enjoying in the Automotive sector following a similar link up with Saint-Gobain-led distribution”.
