G3 Pro Shelf Unit wins Popai Award
The creative and commercial success of the current G3 Pro display was recognised at the 10th POPAI Awards, the point-of-purchase industry’s equivalent of the Oscars ceremony.
Brand owners and designers of the cream of this year’s crop of in-store displays gathered in London this week, for the awards ceremony, and in the Automotive and Leisure category the silver award went to G3 Pro’s ‘Hotspot’ display designed specifically for Halfords and installed across over 400 Halfords stores.
The Hotspot display was designed to be both arresting and informative for shoppers. Tom French, Graphic Design and Brand Manager at Farécla, the company behind the G3 Pro brand said: “it’s easy for consumers to be confused by the sheer profusion of different products available within car care. We wanted to cut through that and walk shoppers logically through the paintwork restoration and maintenance processes offered by the G3 Pro range, and I think the display does that very well.”
Paul Stanley, Category Manager for Car Maintenance at Halfords was equally positive: “it’s very gratifying that a display created specifically for Halfords has been singled out by the top professionals of the point-of-purchase industry for an excellence award. Customers and Halfords store staff alike benefited from the easy to follow information presented on the display which brought a significant uplift in our sales of the G3 Pro range.”
