Farécla 2018 Apprentice & Student Bonnet Competition – Semifinalists to be Announced this Wednesday
Farécla’s competition to showcase the talent of the nation’s student and apprentice painters is approaching its latter stages.
On Wednesday this week the semifinalists will be announced, and 1 of the 4 grand finalists will be chosen by the bodyshop public! Visit www.farecla.com after midday on Wednesday 5th and before midnight on the following Wednesday, 12th September to view the gallery of bonnets and cast your vote.
Since the launch of the competition during National Apprenticeship Week in March, students and apprentices across the country have been working hard, often in their own time, to come up with and implement a design that will give them the best chance of reaching the grand final, and ultimately carrying off the £1000 first prize and having their bonnet displayed on the Farécla stand at The Advanced Engineering Show (NEC, Birmingham, 31 Oct-1 Nov)
Farécla Marketing Manager, David stokes said: “We have been hugely impressed by the number and high standard of finished bonnets submitted for judging. With only a limited number of entries able to contest the latter stages of the competition it has been very difficult for our senior technicians to make their final selection. We really hope that large numbers of the bodyshop public will want to acknowledge and encourage the next generation of painters by taking just a few moments to view the gallery and cast their vote.”
