New TV Show on Dave

When Roadhouse Motor Co. and car journalists, Jonny Smith and Tom Ford on their new TV show, pitched their idea for a new TV show of importing affordable classic cars from Europe, recommissioning them and selling the vehicles at auction, we were quickly sold!

Rather than a full restoration, Lazy Boy Garage, takes viewers through the process of scouring the internet for rare cars in need of saving, and acquiring the parts to fix them up, with Stamford-based Tim Glover doing the spannering at his garage, Roadhouse Motor Co.

Naturally when it came to bodywork, there was a lot of polishing to be done - primarily to cut back years of oxidation. The first episode features a 2-door Range Rover, which we were lucky enough to see being worked on, and Farécla's rotary polishing machine and G360 to bring the shine back! With the chaps having remarked that the Range Rover looked to have been finished in primer, it just goes to show what a good polish can do!
